Order and Transit Delays

UPDATE 21st November 2022

This is an update from our suppliers regarding October / November Pre Orders.

 ‘ As you are aware we have experienced many delays on the production of the American Oak collections that we supply. The two main delays were supply of American Oak timber (which now has been resolved and all goods made) and the supply of Osmo Poly x oil which is a hard wax oil made in Germany. The Osmo oil has now arrived with our supplier, so they are in the final stages of finishing the products and packaging them ready for shipment.

We have them currently booked on a shipping schedule to arrive in Brisbane Port on the 12 Dec, containers will usually arrive 3-5 days later to us after clearing customs. While we can’t guarantee it will arrive as per the schedule, we believe that it is very likely.

In the interests of transparency and to manage expectations we would like to advise possible issues that could cause further delay to the shipment.

One is delays in transhipment port (Singapore – we have no control over this, but shipping lines sometimes do this).

Another is current Industrial action. The maritime union began striking this Saturday, so no tugboats will be bringing any container ships into port. We have no idea how long this will go on for, but it will no doubt cause some short-term delays. If it goes on for multiple weeks, it will cause havoc for everyone trying to get goods in pre-Christmas.

We will endeavour to have this dispatched as early as possible, however we may not be able to meet a Christmas deadline.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but we will endeavour to do our best. ‘

Refunds are not given on Pre Ordered Items.

CHRISTMAS BREAK

Our Christmas Break Starts November 24th til January 4th. Any orders placed after the 24th will be processed on our return in January. Unless previous communications has been made.
All Pre Orders arriving during this break will still need to be collected or will still be sent out ASAP.. Our email response during this time will be minimal. SO please be patient.
